Sundance film festival: Celebrity Styles

Here is a look at the celebrity street styles and red carpet looks at the 2011 Sundance film festival...

Kate Bosworth

Wore colorful earmuffs and a classic trench when out in the streets of Park city but on the red carpet she decided to go for a beautiful floral-lace Dolce & Gabana.

Zooey Deschanel

Wore winter white earmuffs and matching sunglasses during the day and at night she sported a amethyst tea dress and H&M pumps.

Liv Tyler

Decided to winterize her ballet flats by pairing them with socks and a long puffer jacket but for the red carpet she went  for a black layered look.

Elizabeth Banks

Wore a camel-colored trench with a leopard print scarf when wondering the streets of the festival and went for a casual look on the red carpet with leggings and a knit sweater.

Rachel Zoe Collection

Rachel Zoe- Celebrity stylist, reality TV star and pioneer of the 'boho chic' look' that reinvented Nicole Richie- has just launched her own clothing line. 

The collection is described as "predominantly tailored in a chic albeit seventies way" according to WWD. 

The collection will be in the higher price points sitting alongside Diane von Furstenberg and Marc by Marc Jacobs. Day dresses will go for $250 and a full tuxedo look for $700. And it is rumored that Intermix will carry the collection.

Sunglasses-Biggest Trends

Today was a beautiful day in Montreal, the sun was shinning and it reflected off the beautiful white snow on the ground which made today a very, very bright day. And, the one accessory you couldn't leave home without were sunglasses, so I thought it was only natural to blog about them.

Here are a couple of the biggest trends in sunglasses for the season: From the top, the ray ban reinvented aviator sunglasses, the Dolce and Gabana MDG line, the Carrera Endurance and finally the classic Ray Ban. What is your favorite style?

I also wanted to present the Elizabeth and James sunglasses line which is a great addition to the brand. The Olsen duo launched 2 styles this season and described their line as "the best handmade materials and optical-quality lenses with understated designs".

Winter Shorts

When you think of shorts you think of summer. But this season wearing shorts in colder weather has become very trendy. Several designers have come up with "the winter short". The great thing about them is you can create different looks by playing around with different color tights and different tight motifs. 

If your looking for a great winter day short, try a wool blend short (mango) or a leather short (Joie and Asos) and if your looking for a dressier look go for a lace short (River Island) or sequin short (Tibi).

Fair Isle Leggings

Fair Isle has been around for a while, however it was never considered fashionable until now. This season, D&G have transformed Fair Isle into a chic and edgy trend. Their 2010 collection included sweaters, dresses, scarfs and even rompers.

I fell in love with these Tristan Fair Isle leggings. I think the trend gives a special touch to any outfit. I decided to pair mine with a fur cape however they also look great with a blazer.

Moon Boots

Walking the winter streets of Europe your sure to find a style yet to be scene in North America: Moon Boots. 

Moon Boot by Tecnica is the pioneer of the trend and aims to incorporate the sport spirit with the sense of design of the fashion world. Their original model comes in an array of colors and has been around since 1970.

But it's only recently they've ventured into providing more stylish designs of the boot and today more and more people have adopted the trend.

Even High end designers, such as Tory Burch, Celine, Dior and Emilio Pucci have come up with their own version of the boot.

The Fur & Faux Fur Trend

Fur is back in fashion this season. The trend, previously a symbol of luxury, was absent from runways and high streets for many years following the controversy around wearing fur. However, this season the fur frenzy has been revamped into a faux fur frenzy. Designers such as Michael Kors, Nina Ricci and Chanel have opted for putting faux fur on their fall runways.
