Marjorie's Flashmods Looks

For those who haven’t heard it yet, I am amongst the guest blogger judges for the web reality TV show called “Flashmods” that took place at The Bay in downtown. Hosted by the beautiful Mitsou Gélinas. Every two weeks, 3 stylists competed to create looks for guest celebrities. I could not be happier to collaborate with NET A LA MODE and feature their fashionable pieces on the show and on other special events I attended. Here are my top 3 NET A LA MODE’s looks. What do you think?

Look 1  Jean Paul Gaultier said it himself: “stripes never go out of style!”.  I love the long sleeve mini striped dress from Lucca Couture. What I love about it are the vertical lines disguising my body’s imperfections on both the shoulders and the hip area. This dress was a perfect pick for NET A LA MODE launch party at Phillips Lounge.
Look 2 For one of the FlashMods taping, I went for a modern look wearing Gentle Fawn’s top paired with black skinny pants. To bring up the top’s linear detail, I added a silver necklace and light gray pumps.
Look 3 You never go wrong with Eve Gravel’s little black dress. I added a little shine to the outfit with a long gold chain necklace from The Bay. I suggest wearing black opaque stockings paired with black booties, it will make your legs look longer.
Get the look, all featured items are available on NET A LA MODE’s e-boutique.
Happy Shopping,

Kanye West Spring 2012 ready-to-wear

"Say what?!" is probably the exact reaction you experienced while scanning the title of this post. Last evening in Paris, rapper and producer Kanye West presented his first eponymous collection to a throng of legendary designers such as Azzedine Alaïa and Dean and Dan Caten, the duo behind Canadian label DSquared2. Models including Anja Rubik, Chanel Iman and Karlie Kloss strutted down the runway in Kanye's designs, which included barely there shorts, furs, leather and lamé exercise wear.
